This simplified subway was made to showcase Portland’s creativity and “weirdness” it’s known for by using fresh colors and a unique patterned line system that can be seen throughout the branding. Since everything would mainly be viewed on the go, the designs were made with a goal to be comprehended quickly. These features are further enhanced by taking advantage of the directional divides that have already been created throughout the city, making it an easy and satisfying guide for commuters.
